Newborns
Is there ever a more precious time than now?
Your baby’s story starts the second they are born and it’s a story worth telling. Their teeny tiny toes, their cute little expressions, the way they look so small in your arms, all these moments should be captured and remembered forever.
Your baby is perfect just as they are and this is why I choose to photograph them in a relaxed and minimal way, using only natural and simple poses focusing purely on your baby. My newborn sessions are always baby led, making sure we have plenty of time for cuddles, feeding & settling baby if needed.
There is no wrong time to photograph your baby, so if you wish to wait until they are a little older then that is absolutely fine. 6 weeks, 3 months, 8 months or a year old, I welcome any age of baby to the studio.

You can book at any time but its best to get in touch before baby arrives. This way I can make a note in the diary of your due date and this allows me to set side some time for your session. If baby happens to be here already don’t panic, please do still get in touch, as most of the time I can still schedule in a session for you.
Your session will last between 2-3 hours. Before you leave the studio I make sure I have all the shots needed and if we need a little extra time that is absolutely fine as I only ever book one newborn session in per day, there is no rush for you to leave.
Your online photo gallery link will be emailed over to you within 2-3 weeks, however I do like to send over a sneak preview of around 4 images a day or two after your session. Your gallery will include 40-50 images in a mix of colour and black & white and with the option to share with your family & friends.
For baby, I like to start with very simple and natural poses so if you can arrive with baby wearing or bring with you a little white vest, maybe a second one just incase of any accidents. Then for Mum and Dad, I recommend that you keep it simple but most importantly you should choose something that you feel comfortable in. I would stick to neutral colours, white and denim is always a nice option and something that we all have in the wordrobe. If you can avoid anything that has big bright patterns or logos as we don’t want the focus taken away from your baby.
