Wild Scottish Elopement at The Fife Arms, Braemar & Linn O’ Dee
Aleisha & Jake
The definition of ELOPEMENT- “to run away secretly to marry just the two of you” and this is exactly what Aleisha & Jake did.
They packed their bags leaving an Australian summer behind for a month long Scottish winter adventure. And they certainly got the full Scottish winter weather experience.
Planning an outdoor wedding anytime of the year can come with some challenges, however the team at Wild Scottish Weddings had Aleisha & Jakes big day planned to perfection.
The day started at the CRAIGENDARROCH in Ballater, but with the sky darkening and the snow beginning to fall, the plan for an outdoor ceremony by the riverside was switched to indoors. Secretly I was quite glad, not just to be in the warmth but as their ceremony was then to take place in the beautiful Fife Arms, in Breamar.
The snow however wasn't going to stop this incredible fun loving couple from venturing out and braving the wonderful Scottish weather. So it was on to their next adventure and we headed to the beautiful Linn O' Dee to capture some magical moments, stopping off along the way taking in many epic views and a visit to Breamar Castle.
This is one day I am going to remember for a long time.
