This stunning Venue holds very special memories for me, as it’s where my husband and I were married back in 2015 — so I may be a little biased when I say it’s my favourite venue in Aberdeenshire.

Brittany & Naufal's Wedding Story

Brittany and Naufal's wedding at Drumtochty Castle was dreamy from beginning to end, filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The day began with Brittany and her bridesmaids enjoying a relaxed morning in the bridal suite, champagne in hand. There was an excited buzz in the air as they prepared for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Naufal and his groomsmen shared a few drams of whisky, creating a laid-back and laughter-filled start to the day.

The ceremony took place in the castle’s stunning ballroom—a first for me—and it proved to be the perfect backdrop for the couple’s vows. The room was brimming with love, laughter, and happiness, making it a moment that will be cherished by everyone there.

For the bridal portraits, we ventured to the top of Cairn o’ Mount. The weather was perfect, and the views were absolutely breathtaking, making these portraits even more special.

Back at the castle, guests were treated to heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner. But the evening took an exciting turn when More Than Sax brought their surprise performance, instantly lifting the energy and getting everyone on their feet for the rest of the night.

As the light remained soft and golden, I stole Brittany and Naufal away for a quiet moment by the lakeside, capturing a few final portraits before they rejoined their guests to dance the night away.

It was truly a magical day at Drumtochty Castle—one that I won’t soon forget.
