I’m Simone, and this is me........
I believe that every photo tells a story and no matter what the occasion, I shall photograph these moments in a relaxed and natural way. Telling stories through the lens is what I am good at.
Can I let you into a little secret?
I’m not a fan of having my photo taken either. So before all the clicking starts let’s get to know each other a little more so it feels like you are just spending time with a friend. If it’s your wedding that I will be photographing, let’s go for a coffee, chat all things weddings and get a little practise in during your pre wedding photo session. Or if it’s your family infront of the camera, I will spend some time with the kids asking them questions, get them to help carry my bag and generally we will just have some fun.

A little bit about me!
My Family
I met my husband over 15years ago and we got married at the beautiful Drumtochty Castle on 21st October 2015 on what was the most magical day ever. I have two fur babies, Alfie & Rosie. Most of my down days are spent with my husband & fur babies, going for walks, out for coffee and cake and travelling in our campervan. We love exploring the West Coast of Scotland, Lake District and Devon, but any other location suggestions are welcome. Oh, and one last thing that many people don’t know, I have a 2nd family. An amazing group of fitness junkies, like myself who come along to my Kettlercise classes every week and join me for the occasional crazy challenge.
My love for photography started back when I was studying Visual Communications at Grays School of Art. Film photography became a big interest of mine and I loved developing my own photographs in the darkroom. Having gained my Degree, I then went on to specialise in photography at Aberdeen Collage and graduated in 2009 with a HND. After studying and working in the photography world for over 10 years, I created my own photography business, Simone Smith Photography in 2018 and have never looked back.
