The day began with Brittany and her bridesmaids enjoying a relaxed morning in the bridal suite, champagne in hand. There was an excited buzz in the air as they prepared for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Naufal and his groomsmen shared a few drams of whisky, creating a laid-back and laughter-filled start to the day. The ceremony took place in the castle’s stunning ballroom—a first for me—and it proved to be the perfect backdrop for the couple’s vows. The room was brimming with love, laughter, and happiness, making it a moment that will be cherished by everyone there. For the bridal portraits, we ventured to the top of Cairn o’ Mount. The weather was perfect, and the views were absolutely breathtaking, making these portraits even more special. Back at the castle, guests were treated to heartfelt speeches and a delicious dinner. But the evening took an exciting turn when More Than Sax brought their surprise performance, instantly lifting the energy and getting everyone on their feet for the rest of the night. As the light remained soft and golden, I stole Brittany and Naufal away for a quiet moment by the lakeside, capturing a few final portraits before they rejoined their guests to dance the night away. It was truly a magical day at Drumtochty Castle—one that I won’t soon forget. When is it best to book a Newborn Session? \u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>If you can get in touch before your baby arrives, I can secure time in my dairy by adding in your due date and we then arrange a time for your session when your baby has arrived. However this is not always necessary, as I can never turn away the chance of a newborn snuggle, so please still do get in touch if your baby has already arrived, as I will most certainly still be able to squeeze you in. \u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>2nd Question...... What age should my baby be when booking a Newborn Session? \u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>It is suggested that a newborn session is arranged within the first 2 weeks of their arrival, however I know this isn’t always possible, with perhaps an extended stay in hospital, just wanting to soak up this early days at home and not feeling ready to venture out. So I say you book in your session for whenever you are ready, this might mean baby is 5days old, 2 weeks, 5 weeks or even 2months old. So no matter what age your baby is at their newborn session, I can create some beautiful photos for you to cherish forever. \u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>3rd Question.... What Happens if my Baby doesn't sleep during their Newborn Session? \u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>Well........your photo gallery may look a little like this!!!!\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\r\n\u003C/p>\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Final Question........ Then after that I suggest that you choose neutral colours where possible or items of clothing of one colour and nothing with bright or bold patterns that could be distracting. And for your baby... a little white vest is all that is needed.
